Private dining experiences at the award winning Plas Dinas Country House embody all the essentials of an elegant gathering in a historic setting, the former home of Lord Snowdon, once Husband of Princess Margaret.

Expect outstanding, traditional dishes enriched by an enchanting atmosphere and a sophisticated setting. Whether you’re seated in the unique Gun Room or the beautiful Dining Room, your surroundings will undoubtedly define your experience.

Led by our Head Chef and TV personality, Daniel Ap Geraint, our menu delivers a rich mix of ideas developed with the very finest local and seasonal produce. Creating a menu rooted in flavour, passion and exceptional quality.

Private dining bookings that do not book Plas Dinas on an exclusive use hire basis will be offered our monthly changing 9 course menu which is £79.50pp. Exclusive Use Event Menus start from £65.00pp. Please note that we can serve our monthly restaurant menu during the daytime Wednesday – Saturday by pre-arrangement for groups. Our Afternoon Tea Menu is also available for private dining between 12.30pm and 4.30pm. Perfect for ladies who lunch, an intimate baby shower or ladies hen party. It is the leading restaurant for Afternoon Tea in North Wales and was voted as the winner of the Go Food and Drink award at the North Wales Tourism Awards 2022.

Capacity:

• The Gun Room – The most historic and oldest part of the house – 14 guests
• The Dining Room – Fresh and bright by day, candlelit by night- 24 guests

(please note that in house guests would need to walk through the Dining Room to access their dining experience if not fully exclusive use)

• The Drawing Room – 50 guests (only available when booking Plas Dinas Country House on an exclusive use basis.
